"Thirty" is Lin Yu-Ting’s present tense - a milestone marking her transition from an athlete to an extraordinary.

"Metamorphosis" is the present progressive tense of my own journey behind the lens, gazing at her silhouette from afar.

A wordplay on "Thirty" in Chinese as the exhibition title does not only signify her thirtieth year, but also a metaphor of my participation and gathering as an observer. I attempt to preserve clues of this transformation through photography. You will find no myths here. Here remains only the sweat, joy, and countless moments of determination that I witnessed through the viewfinder.
